This one is laxative, and helps you poop. I give it to you if and only if I feel you have an uneasy stomach. So far, you have had pear puree twice, including yesterday morning.

I put raw almond in water and in the fridge for a couple of days. Peel 5 or 6 of them, grind them, put them in a neat and tender piece of cloth and soak it in a glass half full with hot water. I put the glass inside a kettle of boiling water.

There, after several minutes, I have almond syrup.

I add 10 ml of almond syrup to a mixture of cereal (usually 20 ml) and fresh fruit juice (usually 15 ml of grapes or apple juice) , and give it to you.

For the first time I gave you apple puree today.

I peeled a granny smith apple, cut almost 1/5 of it it in very small pieces and boiled it in boiling water until it got pretty soft. I smashed it to make it as smooth as possible, mixed it with oat cereal, then added a little bit of fresh natural grape juice to make it sweet, then gave it to you.

This evening we went to Gol e Sorkh. There, almost all people wanted to hold you in their arms. They can’t stop admiring your exceptional beauty.

Almost all people who see you, ask us smoke “esfand” for you.

We were all invited to Pouria’s bday on Saturday. It was a garden party.

Almost all people there were lining up to hold you for a couple of minutes. You have no idea how adorable you are.

You had a difficult couple of days. Well, you are extremely sweet, so, even with an uneasy stomach you managed to be lovable, curious and extremely cute. Yet you couldn’t eat or sleep easily for a couple of days.

I stopped giving the Heinz banana puree to you for a couple of days. You pooped three times, it got out of your system and as of this morning you were back to normal again.

You sleep really well through the night, since sometime between 8 to 10 p.m. to some time between 7 to 9 a.m.

We feed you every 4~5 hours now that you eat rather well during the day. Previously we fed you every 3 hours. We change you each time now, after you had a bit of a diaper rash. This, does not disturb your sleep though, fortunately. You are one adorable baby. You are a dream baby.

When you decide to do something or reach something, you just go for it. You do not nag or cry, but you just go for it and try hard.

If we move it from your reach, you do not nag. You just find another target to go for. I admire your determination, resilience and flexibility.

Your dad is on a business trip, and will be away till Thursday night.

Next week, your dad will be away in San Francisco. We were supposed to go with him, but since we decided to go to Iran on August 21st., I thought it would be too hard for you to change routines so many times in a short period. You are a lovely angel.
