You speak English so cute

You speak English so cute

You use specific expressions and idioms. In your music class, when one of our friends (Mahta) opened the door and you were standing there, you told her: “After you”!!

Your first full sentence in English was: “this is mommy. this is baba. this is Deeba”. It was almost two weeks ago, when you were introducing us to Thomas and Persy!!

In Rodvin’s birthday on December 28th, you were repeating to yourself: happy day to you!!

You have three stuffed “hello kitty” dolls, but we told you that they are Binoo, because you love Binoo. You were playing with one of those Kitties, and you told her half in Farsi and half in English: “نترس Binoo, I am here”!, after you threw her down a slide that you made by putting the cushion on the chair, and when she landed on the floor !

You are REALLY ADORABLE.

You talk on the phone

You talk on the phone

You can now talk on the phone.

Your grandparents call from Iran, and you talk to them.

First time, you were describing the cartoon that you were watching to them. It was Thomas, and you said these words on the phone: “Thomas, Persy, Balloon, Asy mun, Nist”

That was because Thomas was carrying a balloon with Persy on his side, but the balloon got loose and went up high to sky, and then it was a close up of Thomas with no Persy on the screen.

Second time, you got the phone and told your grandpa: “maman nist, baba nist”, and then passed the phone to maman fakhri. 😀

You adorable little thing.

You make 3-word sentences

You make 3-word sentences

It is now almost two weeks that you can make 3-work sentences.

One of the first ones were: دیبا ماوس پوشیده which means “Deeba is wearing a mouse” in farsi.

Your sleeper has a cute mouse on it, and whenever you wear it, I show the mouse to you, and i tell you that your feet are in the tommy of the mouse. And, there it goes: you just woke up one day and said “Deeba mouse poushideh”. 🙂

You had your first roleplay with another person – Tea Party with Me

You had your first roleplay with another person – Tea Party with Me

I believe it is a major step. Yesterday you pretended having a tea party with me!

You got the idea from your book “Dora”. Dora arranges a tea party in that book. Layla (Forouhar) had brought us a teapot as a gift from Iran, Shiraz. We had no idea what to do with it. so after they left we had put it there on the corner of the living room. You spotted it yesterday, and out of nowhere said “tea party”!! First, I couldn’t understand what you were talking about. But then it just clicked. You wanted to have a tea party!

We got the teapot, I brought in a couple of tea cups, and cookies, and we pretended we had a party! We poured imaginary tea in cups, blew to make it cold, and then pretended to drink them! And, I made you eat a couple of small cookies. 😀

And, you are still the most adorable little thing ever.

You understand what letters are

You understand what letters are

For the past couple of months, you have been realizing that letters and alphabets means something and can be read.

You know 2 (or may be 6) alphabets so far: O, D, A, H, U and M. I am sure about O and D and A, but not quite sure about H, U and M. You know A, because of Archie. You know D because of Deeba, and you know O, I don’t know why!

You understand numbers and can count.

You refuse to read or count if we ask you, but more than a couple of times we were surprised as you were counting on your own!

You know two colors: blue and yellow (in farsi), and you can recognize (and sometimes mention) another couple of colors green and red (again in farsi).

You can name many animals, including monkey, crocodile, cat, dog, zebra, lion, snake, parrot, and more. Actually you cannot name them all, but show them to us when we ask you. You call cat a “maou”, dog a “happoo”, and you call monkey a ‘monkey’. You can easily say zebra and bear.

You understand what a friend is, and you call some of those animals friends and then you say “hug”.

You still love Thomas, Percy and James. Your favourite seems to be Percy!

You are adorable, and everybody loves you.

Impossible to ignore the beauty of you, specially your eyes

Impossible to ignore the beauty of you, specially your eyes

2 out of three people who sees you comments on your eyes. They are absolutely beautiful, and you are gorgeous.

You are easily the most beautiful baby in the community centre, and there are 25 to 30 kids there every day. This is NOT because I am your mom. This is just the truth.

This is for you to know it, to be thankful, greatful, and happy about it.

Yet, I really hope your unique beauty will not define you and who you are. I want your true capabilities, and what you gained throughout your life, and your values to define you.

In one simple phrase: you are adorable.

Swimming pool for the first time

Swimming pool for the first time

Last sunday we took you to the swimming pool for the first time. We had taken you almost a month ago, but you were so scared, you just cried out and yelled, and soiled your diaper. So, we just took you out of there. But last week, you LOVED it.

First time we went to Banafsheh’s condo swimming pool. I guess you were scared of the environment and the fact that Vahid had to go to men’s change room and you came with Banafsheh and I. So, you started feeling uncomfortable. Then we went in, and a guy was swimming very, well, really loud, you got really scared. Last week, we went there with your granny, Vahid and myself, Sahar and Melissa. and there was no one in the swimming pool when we went in, and Vahid had you in his arms all the times. So, you enjoyed it a lot.

We are planning to go tomorrow too. You really loved it.

Your most favourite person on planet

Your most favourite person on planet

Your father is without a doubt your most favourite person on earth.

If you have your father by your side, you will be happy automatically. You have no idea (or may be you do) how much you love him. It always amazes me.

You do not want to separate from him even if he is in the bathroom!!! You sometimes go stand besides him and wait for him to pee, or you wait at the door of the bathroom for him to finish and come out!
